Our Story
For more than two thousand years, the Silk Road carried Xinjiang’s grapes, walnuts and apricots across deserts and mountains to markets from Samarkand to Constantinople. Today, the route is a modern logistics corridor — but the fruit it carries is still grown the same way, under the same intense desert sun, in soils rich with Tian Shan snowmelt minerals.
We started SUNORIGIN because the global supply chain for Xinjiang dried fruits was broken. Buyers were paying premium prices to multi-tier middlemen, receiving inconsistent grades, and waiting weeks for documents. Meanwhile, the farmers and cooperatives we knew personally were producing some of the best raisins, jujubes and walnuts on Earth — and getting almost nothing for it.
We rebuilt the chain. Direct cooperative agreements in all four growing regions. A packing facility in Urumqi with full GACC export registration. In-house quality control plus third-party inspection on every shipment. The result: better fruit, fairer prices, and a supplier you can build a long-term business on.

We Stand by Our Product
Every shipment travels with full third-party lab reports on moisture, sulphur, microbiology, heavy metals and pesticide residues. If a batch fails spec, we replace it. No exceptions.

Turpan Valley
The world’s hottest valley produces the planet’s sweetest sun-dried raisins. Brix levels reach 75°+, including Wuhebai green seedless, Heizijin black and Hongxiang red.
Hotan Oasis
At the southern edge of the Taklamakan, Hotan’s mineral-rich soil grows prized Ruoqiang grey jujubes, Hotan Jun dates, paper-shell walnuts and desert rose buds.
Kashgar Region
Ancient gateway of the Silk Road. Famous for Saimaiti apricots, Atlas figs from Atush, Kashgar pistachios, and traditional Loulan herbal ingredients.
Yili Valley
Snow-fed alpine valleys produce the highest-altitude almonds and walnuts in China, alongside Hongxiang red raisins and lavender from the Tian Shan foothills.
